Austrian Contemporary Art Exhibition Five Years Held in Ningbo Museum of Art

The Austrian Contemporary Art Exhibition Five Years kicked off in Ningbo Museum of Art on November 7th.

The Austrian Contemporary Art Exhibition Five Years , sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of the Federal Chancellery of Austria, kicked off in the Ningbo Museum of Art on November 7th and will last until the 24th of this month.

More than 130 artworks created by over 60 experienced artists from Austria and other foreign countries will be on display, including pictures, watercolor paintings, photography works, ink drawings, art devices, and videos.

These 60 artists have been living in the Chinese cities of Chengdu, Shanghai, Beijing and Chongqing since 2008. All the artworks showed in this Five Year exhibition were inspired by their life in China and mixed with elements of Chinese culture.

The exhibition is divided into five parts: devices for interior space, interior wallpaper and wall artworks, outdoor devices, and public-used workshops.

The Five Years exhibition is the fifth Austrian contemporary art exhibition held by the Austro Sino Arts Program and the Embassy of the Arts, while the other four were Mi fan held in 2009, Da bao held in 2010, Chuan men held in 2011 and Left and right held in 2012.
