GROW is a dynamic module within the popular ANIMATE plug-in, which enables you to increase the width of selected frequencies using a psychoacoustic precedence effect, spreading frequencies super-wide. Only audio that surpasses the set threshold will be pushed wide, so you don't have to settle for a static and boring width, or worry about mangling the rest of your mix.

ANIMATE uses a sophisticated algorithm to create an all-pass filter to dramatically reduce harmful phase cancellation resulting from the filtering process, injecting real life into your mixes to get your music jumping out of your speakers.

What we particularly like about GROW is the vibrant and clean interface, how quickly you can get a noticeable result, and just how good the thing sounds!

Achieving wideness without completely clearing out the middle of your mix (which can lead to problems if you're playing on big rigs - often set in mono) is a bit of a dark art. With GROW we found we could reach the desired levels of width across specific frequency bands (with an amazing level of control) really quickly.

LEVELS is an invaluable trouble-shooting tool, perfecting your mastering by monitoring the elements of your mix and alerting you to any technical problems. Anyone who's having their music mastered can stumble on metering issues - is my master bus peaking at the right level? Is it over compressed? How clean is the sub and bass? These things can sometimes be really difficult to accurately monitor in non-ideal or DIY studio spaces, so it's amazing to have this helping hand to complement your monitors and your own ears.
