London, 4th April 2014 Manfrotto, the world leader in the design, production and distribution of professional products for photography, video and entertainment has been awarded 6 Red Dot Product Awards for in 2014.

The Red Dot Product Design competition has existed since 1954 and its award, the Red Dot, is an internationally recognized quality seal. This year 1,816 manufacturers, designers and architects from 53 nations entered the competition for the Red Dot quality seal, with the best products presented with the award of design excellence.

The following Manfrotto products have recieved the Red Dot Product Award 2014:

190 ALUMINIUM 4-SECTION TRIPOD, WITH HORIZONTAL COLUMN (MT190XPRO4)

The 190XPRO4 is a super-compact 4-section aluminium tripod with advanced features and excellent build quality featuring;

90 centre column mechanism which allows the column to be extended vertically as normal, or horizontally.

Quick Power Lock levers that lock and unlock each leg section in a single movement and offers more powerful locking of each section.
