Bangladesh's RTV selects Marina automation and Dolphin integrated channel in major playout upgrade

Leading automation, content management and integrated channel specialist Pebble Beach Systems today announced that RTV will deploy the flagship Marina automation solution and a total of three Dolphin integrated channel devices in the vendor's first installation into Bangladesh.

The Marina and Dolphin deployment will handle a fully tapeless workflow incorporating ingest, content management, and playout for both RTV's MCR and studio. It is architected to be fully redundant with no single point of failure, and will control Ross graphics devices and switchers along with nearline and archive storage.

Dhaka-based company, Network, is acting as consultant on this key project, and the system is due to go on air in Q4. Network's owner is Syed Sajjad Hossain:
