Introduces new Sub Zero Bass instrument, Apple Silicon multi-core processing, Windows on ARM beta - plus performance/workflow improvements
PreSonus have released their v7.2 update for Studio One Pro, the companys flagship cross-platform Windows/Mac DAW. The free upgrade introduces a new virtual instrument, along with expanded capabilities, workflow optimisations and a variety of wide-ranging performance improvements.
Headlining the update is Sub Zero Bass, a hybrid instrument that combines synth, organic and bass guitar elements to deliver a wide range of low-end capability. Also included is Tuner2, a revamped tuning plug-in with over 30 presets for guitar, mandolin and banjo, with support for open and custom tunings.
Studio One Pro 7.2 adds Nashville Number System support for chord-based notation, which is now integrated throughout the DAW's Chord Track, Score Editor and floating chord displays. Enhancements to S1 Pros long-established Auto Punch recording functionality now offers extra count, pre-roll and post-roll, footswitch compatibility and flexible configuration directly from the Record Panel.

Continuous play cursor options during playback
Improved offline and real-time audio export with automatic routing detection
Public beta of native Studio One Pro for Windows on ARM
Enhanced multi-core processing for Apple Silicon, with user-selectable efficiency settings
Pricing & Availability Studio One Pro 7.2 is available now as a free update for registered Studio One Pro 7 users and active Studio One+ subscription holders (which gives access to all of the PreSonus software for one low monthly price).
