Leading video software provider, Synamedia, today announced that 24 Frames Digital, one of India's leading live event streaming service providers, has chosen Quortex Play to meet its expanding demands for cost-effective, reliable, streaming. With its pay-as-you-go SaaS model, Quortex Play is already delivering cost savings as it scales to support hundreds of mission-critical events annually, many with more than 40,000 concurrent viewers.
24 Frames Digital selected Quortex Play because of the power and flexibility of its just-in-time video processing as well as the self-service interface that allows the team to quickly set up and manage live streams. Using Synamedia's Cloud Operations Centre's 24/7 support, monitoring and back-up services, 24 Frames Digital has the assurance that its fast-growing roster of corporate clients' events - including hybrid and virtual Annual General Meetings (AGMs), product launches, corporate awards and medical conferences - are streamed seamlessly at high quality.
24 Frames Digital started with a free, self-service trial and quickly saw the benefits of Quortex Play's cloud-native platform. It then partnered with Synamedia to integrate Quortex Play into its event delivery workflows with support from Synamedia's local team. Ongoing proactive monitoring by the Synamedia cloud operations team in Bangalore provides additional support during high-profile company events that attract tens of thousands of viewers across India and beyond.
Using Quortex Play, 24 Frames Digital is already seeing benefits including cost management with a pay-as-you-go model that aligns with the unpredictable nature of live event schedules alongside improved streaming reliability thanks to more efficient bitrate and video delivery. It has gained operational efficiencies by streamlining workflows and consolidating tools into a single unified platform. Quortex Play also meets 24 Frames Digital's need for high availability and flexibility by supporting multi-stream ingest across multiple ISPs. The platform provides input redundancy using both Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) for full HD 1080p streams and Real-Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) ingest in 720p, optimised for mobile viewing, with dual-ISP fallback to ensure reliability.
