Con apenas 22 a os, ngel Jair Quezada, quien se hace llamar Santa Fe Klan, es uno de los actos m s emocionantes en la escena de hip-hop mexicano. El rapero ha sido parte de la cultura desde muy joven, empezando a ensayar sus rimas y producir sus propias canciones en un estudio improvisado en el barrio de Santa Fe en la ciudad de Guanajuato. ngel se abri camino con su estilo y flow nicos, como un letrista original e int rprete del acorde n, y un profundo amor por las ra ces de la m sica mexicana.
El proyecto de Santa Fe Klan inici con Seguimos Radicando en 2017, alcanzando la fama con Bendecido, una oda de agradecimiento con su ascendente trayectoria. Le sigui una experimentaci n hacia el ritmo de la cumbia con Santa Cumbia, lbum en el que retoma sus ra ces de sonidero en el barrio y muestra su talento en el acorde n.
ngel se ha convertido en un colaborador imprescindible en la escena del hip-hop mexicano, acompa ando con su inconfundible voz a raperos como Gera MX, Aleman y Lefty Sm, formando parte esencial del track Grandes Ligas junto a Lupillo Rivera, Snoop Dogg y B-Real, y sumando a Neto Pe a y Yoss Bones en el hit Debo Entender .
El ascenso de Santa Fe Klan ha sido nada menos que mete rico, aumentando en 260% sus oyentes en Spotify en solo dos a os para alcanzar 8.6 millones de oyentes mensuales.
Recientemente fue incluido con el tema Soy en la primera entrega del soundtrack de Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Ahora lanza su lbum m s personal, Mundo y Spotify ofrece a sus fans una mirada m s cercana a lo que lo inspir para escribir las canciones. Destacan entre estas Luka , una canci n que escribi poco antes de la llegada de su primer hijo con su pareja, la modelo Maya Nazor y otras canciones que dedica a su familia.

Qu significa para ti Mundo, un lbum en el que compartes historias muy personales con tus fans? Para mi Mundo significa un proceso de vida y muerte. Los fans al sumergirse en este lbum me van a conocer un poco m s. Van a encontrar todos mis problemas, todos mis pensamientos y sentimientos. Todo lo que van a escuchar es real. Algunas historias son m as, otras de mi mam , de mi pap , de mi equipo.
Luka es el sencillo que m s define este lbum y puedo decir que la escrib con el coraz n. Ahora con todo el xito que est teniendo Santa F Klan, salir de gira es dif cil porque no me gusta estar lejos de mi familia. Son muchos sentimientos al mismo tiempo pero esa conexi n es algo que me inspira cuando estoy solo y me hace falta mi barrio, mi jefa, mi jefe, mi ni o. A todos ellos va dedicado este lbum.
Desde hace tiempo has experimentado con otros g neros adem s del hip hop como la cumbia, qu es distinto en el sonido de este lbum? Van a encontrar una experimentaci n de canciones raras porque la neta no s qu g nero son. Desde siempre me ha gustado mezclar sonidos, no porque sea ahora tendencia. Me gusta tocar el acorde n y es algo que desde hace tiempo hago en mis shows. Hace como cuatro a os me atrev a hacer cumbias y no me dio pena. Es lo que soy. Siempre me han gustado los corridos de Chalino S nchez, la cumbia norte a de Celso Pi a, o las de banda como El Recodo. En este lbum hago una canci n con Reik. As que imagino que alg n d a voy a necesitar varios camiones en la gira para dar shows de rap, norte o, cumbia o lo que me pidan.
Cu l fue la canci n que m s disfrutaste hacer para este lbum? Me gusta Mar y Tierra , porque es una canci n que habla de c mo he tenido que caminar por rumbos distintos. Se trata de un amor imposible y los muchos errores por los que tuve que pasar para encontrar lo que tanto quer a.
Qu significa el que hayan incluido una canci n tuya en la banda sonora de Black Panther: Wakanda Forever? Es mucho peso. Al principio me sent intimidado por el reto. Despu s, para escribir la canci n habl con el equipo de Marvel sobre la historia de la pel cula y la conexi n con la cultura de M xico. Ah me di cuenta que ten a que escribir algo para que la gente de M xico recuerde de d nde venimos y quienes somos. Es muy emocionante hacer cosas as de grandes. Me siento muy orgulloso de representar a M xico en todo el mundo.
