WITCHY OBY PHAKADE IS BACK The Generations: The Legacy TVSA April teasers have confirmed that Oby Phakade will send shockwaves on the show when she moves into her husband's (Kumkani Gadaffi Phakade) old penthouse.

The Tuesday 5 April teaser reads:

There is great intrigue about who will be moving into Gadaffi's old penthouse.

The Thursday 7 April teaser reads:

The arrival of an unexpected visitor sends shockwaves through the penthouse.

The Tuesday 12 April teaser reads:

Clearly, Oby turning over a new leaf was all just a big act.

Popular actress Khabonina Qubeka played the character of a Nigerian diplomat and witch called Oby Phakade from June to August 2021.

She left the show after Ayanda, Tshidi, and Lucy neutralised her which caused her to lose her powers.

She gained control over others by eating human livers and lost control of her husband Kumkani (Vuyo Dabula) and Ayanda who were under her spell.

The teasers don't indicate if her on-screen husband Kumkani will return to the show with her.

Fan-favourite actor Vuyo Dabula who played the role of Kumkani Gadaffi Phakade for several seasons resigned from the soapie in December 2021.

KUMKANI PHAKADE NOT RETURNING TO GENERATIONS: THE LEGACY' Sources informed True Love that Vuyo Dabula allegedly left the show left the country's second-biggest show for good this time.

He has left the show for good this time - after a lot of back and forth. He has been with the show since 2014 and now he's gone.

This time, he's definitely gone for good because he hasn't been in the studio for a while.

His character has been scraped off, which means that he won't feature in season 31 of the show.

There were negotiations between Vuyo and the show's producers, but things didn't work out.

The show's publicist, Nandipha Pantsi, also confirmed his exit from the soapie to the publication.

It's true that Vuyo is no longer a part of the show and he will be greatly missed.

I can confirm that there are two new additions to the show that viewers can look forward to.
