The Prado Museum premieres the documentary "The spirit of the painting on the work of Cai Guo-QiangEl documental de Isabel Coixet, que cuenta con el patrocinio de Samsung The Frame, traslada al espectador al viaje de creaci n de la obra de Cai Guo-Qiang que expone el Museo del Prado.
Isabel Coixet ha presentado el documental El esp ritu de la pintura en el que la cineasta retrata el proceso de gestaci n y creaci n de la muestra El esp ritu de la pintura de Cai Guo-Qiang en el Prado y convierte al espectador en un testigo privilegiado del di logo que el artista Cai Guo-Qiang mantiene con los grandes maestros de su colecci n.
A trav s de este documental de cincuenta minutos, rodado en 4K y producido por Miss Wasabi Films para el Museo del Prado con el patrocinio de Samsung The Frame y la participaci n de Movistar+, el espectador conocer todos los secretos de una obra y su creador. Entender c mo Cai Guo-Qiang trabaja con las im genes, con la pureza de los colores o con la p lvora. Apreciar los detalles de cada pintura, de las explosiones incontrolables y la belleza que trasmite el momento de finalizaci n de una obra.
El esp ritu de la pintura, en versi n original subtitulado en espa ol, se estrenar el pr ximo 29 de enero a las 22.00 horas en Movistar Xtra y a partir del mes de febrero estar disponible en DVD.
Asimismo hay una versi n m s corta de 20 minutos de duraci n que forma parte de la exposici n de Cai en el Prado y que se proyecta en la sala D del edificio Jer nimos.
Nuevas obras en Samsung The FrameAdem s del patrocinio del documental Samsung ha anunciado la disponibilidad de seis de las obras del artista, con calidad 4K, en la galer a digital del televisor The Frame. Estas seis obras Cai Guo-Qiang en el Prado se suman a la selecci n de la colecci n permanente, Museo del Prado Collection, actualmente disponible en la Art Store en The Frame, siendo la primera vez que est n disponibles en un soporte 4K de forma simult nea a la exposici n de la obra.
Las seis obras de Cai Guo-Quiang que podr n exponer los usuarios de The Frame, a trav s de la Tienda, con la m xima calidad de imagen 4K y un alto nivel de detalle son: Black Ceremony, Mountain in Heat, Valley in Heat, Last Carnival, Day and Night in Toledo and Sal n de Reinos.
Nacido en la provincia china de Fujan y residente actual de Nueva York, Cai Guo-Quiang es uno de los grandes artistas contempor neos internacionales, famoso por su original t cnica de explosi n en sus dibujos gracias a las propiedades de la p lvora. En la exposici n El esp ritu de la pintura, Cai Guo-Qiang rinde su particular homenaje a la figura y la espiritualidad del Greco -reconstruyendo el viaje personal y art stico desde la Creta natal del Greco hasta Venecia, Roma y Toledo- y plantea un di logo con los maestros del Prado. La exposici n est formada por 27 pinturas hechas con p lvora, ocho de ellas realizadas en el Sal n de Reinos del Museo del Prado, que fue convertido en estudio del artista durante varias semanas.
Colaboraci n Samsung Museo del PradoComo colaborador tecnol gico del Museo del Prado desde 2013, Samsung participa en la creaci n de contenidos y el desarrollo conjunto de aplicaciones con las que ofrecer nuevas experiencias interactivas y multimedia a los visitantes del museo y acercar el arte a todos los p blicos.
El ltimo proyecto conjunto de Samsung y el Museo ha sido la inclusi n en la galer a digital del televisor The Frame de una selecci n de obras de la pinacoteca. Reunidas en Museo del Prado Collection, esta selecci n de obras en 4K, han sido editadas para optimizar su visionado en el televisor e incluye obras maestras como El Jard n de las Delicias del Bosco, Las Meninas de Vel zquez y obras de Goya, Rubens, El Greco o Zurbar n. Esta colecci n, disponible a nivel mundial, puede adquirirse bajo suscripci n o venta a la carta.
