Held in Amsterdam, the Technicolor booth hosted over 300 visitors that were able to discover a broad array of the latest innovations to enhance the consumer video experience.
One of the key highlights was a demonstration focused on video quality thanks to 4K and related HDR enhancements. Showcasing expertise in post-production tools, inverse tone reproduction, and set-top-box modifications, Technicolor's demonstrations displayed both professional and consumer market HDR solutions that has led to partnership and business development opportunities.
Technicolor was also present on two partner booths (4EVER, a French collaborative project and Fraunhofer) and presenting technical papers related to HEVC, UHDTV, HDR and content creation. IBC also served as a platform to launch the company's The Future Trust campaign which highlights Technicolor expertise and thought leadership.

Visitors were very impressed by the visual quality of HDR demos and the fact that Technicolor HDR solution addressed both professional and consumer markets and drove interest in partnering on HDR and other business development opportunities.

A French collaborative project, a consortium of nine industrial and academic partners working on enhancing the quality of the video experience and on leading edge technologies for Ultra High Definition TV services, both on image format and encoding standard aspects.
Visitors to the 4EVER stand could see some visual improvements considered for Phase 2 of UHDTV.
