En IBC 2017, Grass Valley est realizando una demostraci n de los productos de monitorizaci n, conversi n de se al Densit UHD-3901-UC, multipantalla Kaleido-IP y Densit HCO-3901-4K quad-link change over, que permiten a los canales realizar la transici n de manera f cil y con costes asumibles.
La tarjeta Densit UHD-3901-UC proporciona un mapeado cruzado entre SDR y HDR, m s conversi n cruzada entre HD y 4K. La novedad en IBC es que se ha a adido la comodidad de convertir a 1080p. Del mismo modo, el multivisualizador Kaleido-IP ofrece una soluci n para monitorizar f cilmente una mezcla de se ales SDR, HDR y 4K UHD para su reproducci n. Por ltimo, para garantizar una alta disponibilidad durante la reproducci n en 4K, el HCO-3901-4K quad-link change over gestiona secuencias m ltiples para distribuir una se al de 4K en un nico punto de control.
Densit UHD-3901-UC permite a los clientes asombrar a los espectadores con la mejor calidad de imagen de HDR, mientras deciden si cambiar n, o c mo lo har n, a 4K. Por ejemplo, cuando un canal de televisi n necesita producir contenido en 4K UHD pero tiene una mezcla de c maras 4K, 3G y HD, Densit UHD-3901-UC proporciona la capacidad de crear un formato com n para la producci n final. Ofrece una densidad l der en el mercado de 24 convertidores de subida UHD en un marco 4RU y proporciona una normalizaci n de la se al, garantizando que las fuentes externas trabajen dentro del flujo de trabajo.
Densit HCO-3901-4K est dise ado para gestionar cuatro secuencias 3G SDI (quad-link) al mismo tiempo para distribuir una se al 4K con un nico punto de control. Soporta un cambio quad-link 4K UHD con audio y metadatos incorporados con la opci n de una operaci n de conmutaci n limpia. Asimismo, el ALC (control autom tico de sonoridad) elimina las variaciones de sonoridad desagradables entre programas y anuncios y ofrece a los clientes una soluci n para proteger su se al durante los apagones.
Kaleido-IP ofrece a las instalaciones de retransmisi n capacidades de monitorizaci n mejoradas al a adir soporte SMPTE ST 2022-6 en 10G, 25G y 40G. Con la adici n de SMPTE ST 2022-6 y la propuesta de ST 2110, Kaleido-IP soporta ahora todos los formatos IP, de forma que comprimido, no comprimido y OTT pueden monitorizarse f cilmente utilizando solo una plataforma. Kaleido-IP tambi n ofrece la capacidad de monitorizar hasta 32 HD HEVC para las instalaciones de transmisi n y reproducci n, eligiendo HEVC/H.265 debido a su mayor eficiencia de ancho de banda. Esta capacidad de monitorizaci n y versatilidad marca la pauta de la monitorizaci n de IP en el mercado y ofrece a los usuarios la m xima flexibilidad, independientemente del tama o y el mbito de la producci n.

Grass Valley presenta soluciones de producci n en directo mejoradas con un amplio soporte de HDR en IBC 2017. Para grabar, distribuir y archivar el contenido en directo de forma eficiente, Grass Valley ha a adido tres nuevos modelos compactos a su cartera de c maras compactas LDX C86N Series y ha mejorado el sistema K2 Dyno Replay System para que ofrezca la menor huella por canal de cualquier soluci n de reproducci n 4K. Todas estas nuevas soluciones complementan el soporte l der en el mercado de Grass Valley para la captura y el procesamiento (HDR) nativos, lo que ayuda a ofrecer im genes impecables a los espectadores.
Adem s de estas opciones recientemente mejoradas, la cartera completa de producci n en directo de Grass Valley ofrece soluciones de contenido en cualquier formato en todas las fases de la cadena de producci n de retransmisiones. Se realizar una demostraci n de algunas de estas soluciones, incluyendo las c maras LDX 82 HD/3G Cameras con capacidades de rango din mico ampliado (XDR) y conmutador de producci n Kayenne K-Frame S-series con pleno soporte multiformato, incluyendo 1080p y 4K UHD, en el rea de producci n en directo del stand de Grass Valley en IBC.
iTX Appliance 2
iTX Appliance 2 es la ltima novedad de la potente soluci n de playout escalable. La tendencia de producci n de alta calidad para deportes y eventos premium ha visto c mo se ha incrementado en gran medida la demanda de playout UHD. Para responder ante esta necesidad, se ha a adido el nuevo modelo iTX Appliance 2 a la gama.
Combinado con la capacidad de ITX de reproducir m s de 25 formatos de fichero en la misma lista de reproducci n, incluyendo el recientemente a adido Apple ProRes, las cadenas de televisi n tienen la flexibilidad de lanzar servicios en una nica plataforma simplemente a adiendo una nueva licencia de software.
Como parte de la ltima versi n de software iTX 2.12, la potente opci n de gr ficos Vertigo se encuentra ahora disponible en UHD y la popular opci n de grabaci n secundaria (que permite que los eventos en vivo se capturen sin necesitarse un puerto de grabaci n distinto) se ha mejorado para capturar ficheros UHD.
