Encompass Digital Media, in partnership with VideoMagic International, announced at NAB 2026 the launch of Altitude Intelligence, an AI-powered platform designed to transform metadata and QC creation, promo, microdrama and trailer production, compliance, and media workflows for clients across the broadcast industry.

Developed over more than a year through close collaboration between Encompass and VideoMagic, Altitude Intelligence integrates advanced Perception and Understanding engine technologies into a global media supply chain platform to deliver high-performance, production-ready AI in workflows purpose-built for modern media operations.

Unlike general-purpose AI tools, Altitude Intelligence is engineered specifically for broadcast, entertainment, and sport. It integrates seamlessly into existing media supply chains, enabling teams to accelerate workflows without compromising reliability, quality, or creative control.

At its core, Altitude Intelligence analyzes video, audio, and subtitle data to generate rich, context-aware metadata, including program summaries, themes, characters, and genre classification, natively embedded within Altitude Flow media supply chain workflows. Powered by VideoMagic's technology, the platform understands content intrinsically, without reliance on external data sources, enabling faster and more precise scene discovery.

Altitude Intelligence is designed to accelerate creative processes, working as an assistive layer alongside existing workflows. Through a natural language interface, teams can review and refine AI-selected scenes, understand the rationale behind selections, adjust timelines, and export directly into editing systems for final production.
