Second season of Croing Lines confirmed

Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Networks has co-commissioned a second season of Crossing Lines for its global channel portfolio. The new series comprising 12 episodes will be shot on location in France, the Czech Republic, Monte Carlo and Bulgaria.

Stars returning for the second series are William Fichtner (Elysium, Prison Break, Black Hawk Down, The Lone Ranger), Marc Lavoine (The Good Thief, Le Coeur des Hommes, Libert ), Golden Globe Award-winner Donald Sutherland (The Hunger Games, The Pillars of the Earth, Path to War), Tom Wlaschiha (Game of Thrones, Resistance, Brideshead Revisited), Gabriella Pession (Wilfred, Rossella, Capri), and Richard Flood (Titanic: Blood & Steel, Three Wise Women).

Lara Rossi (Life of Crime, Murder: Joint Enterprise) joins the ensemble cast as a series regular and Carrie-Anne Moss (Vegas, The Matrix) and Ray Stevenson (Dexter, The Book of Eli) are new recurring guest stars.

Crossing Lines, created by Edward Allen Bernero (Criminal Minds, Third Watch) taps into the charter of the International Criminal Court (ICC) to mandate a special crime unit, generating an organisation functioning as a European FBI, to investigate serialised crimes that cross over European borders and to hunt down criminals to bring them to justice.

Crossing Lines is produced by Tandem Communications and Bernero Productions in co-production with TF1 and in association with SPT Networks. The series is co-commissioned by SPT Networks and TF1.

Crossing Lines season 2 will premiere in South Africa exlusively on Sony Entertainment Television on DStv Channel 127 in 2014.
