Schwarzenegger's classic one liner is revealed as best catchphrase on the big screen

The iconic line I'll be back by Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator has been named the best movie catchphrase ever.

The research, carried out by Amazon's film and TV streaming service LOVEFiLM to mark the release of Anchorman 2, polled nearly 2,000 film fans to identify the best known and most popular movie catchphrases, with one in four (25 per cent) voting for the ominous line delivered by a robotic assassin from a post-apocalyptic future.

Stealing into second place with 14 per cent of the vote is Sean Connery's well-known introduction of Bond. James Bond in James Bond, From Russia With Love. The famous introduction has been repeated in 23 films since it was first uttered in Dr No.

Drifting into third place is the nonsensical word that viewers have been repeating for decades: Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious from Disney's Mary Poppins.10 per cent of the people polled cast their vote for the nation's favourite all-singing, all-dancing nanny.

Creeping into fourth place sporting overalls and proton packs are the scientists turned ghost hunters from Ghostbusters with the line, Who you gonna call? . The spooky 80s classic starring Bill Murray and Sigourney Weaver, follows the team as they battle to save the Big Apple from evil, winning nine per cent of votes in the process.

The mystery of fifth place is solved by Sherlock Holmes with Elementary, my dear Watson. The line by the enigmatic detective to his loyal sidekick in 30s classic The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes secures eight per cent of the vote.

Bursting (through a door) into the sixth spot is Jack Nicholson's chilling announcement, Heeeere's Johnny! in The Shining. His character Jack Torrance slowly slips into insanity as he stays in a hotel haunted by family tragedy, turning violently on his wife and son, and prompting seven per cent of film fans to vote for the crazed line.

The heartrending cry of Run, Forest, run comes in at number seven in the chart with six per cent of the vote. The iconic feature Forest Gump, winner of six Academy Awards, stars a young Tom Hanks as he finds himself accidentally present at a series of historical events.

The line, You talkin' to me? by Robert De Niro in BAFTA-winning Scorsese film Taxi Driver follows close behind in eighth place with five per cent, and in ninth is Robin William's bellowed line down the airwaves, Goooood morning Vietnam in Good Morning, Vietnam. The radio comedian's greeting to the troops won four per cent of the total vote.

In tenth place is another line from a film set during the Vietnam War, I love the smell of napalm in the morning from Apocalypse Now. Captain Willard is sent to assassinate a renegade colonel, losing troops along the way and becoming more and more like the insane target of his mission as he journeys deeper into the war torn country, gaining three per cent of the vote as he goes.
