KDDI Corporation (KDDI) hereby announces that at the meeting of the Board of Directors held today, it resolved to submit the proposal Partial Changes to the Articles of Incorporation for approval at the 39th Annual Meeting of Shareholders scheduled to be held on June 21, 2023.

1. Reason for Proposal The partial changes will be made to add pharmacies, to the business purpose listed in Article 2 in the current Articles of Incorporation of KDDI in order to prepare for our future pharmaceutical sales business expansion.
