INDUSTRIAL LIGHT & MAGIC: Pacific Rim

MODO

Industrial Light & Magic's VFX Concept Artist and MODO lover (and loved) Ryan Drue will be with us for the entire show to tell you all about how they use MODO over at ILM and how they used create gorgeous imagery for Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim .. Ryan and the team at ILM even use MODO in their spare time, now that's true love!

DREAMWORKS ANIMATION: Turbo

MARI

Cesar Montero, Surfacing Artist at DreamWorks Animation will demonstrate the use of MARI in the new movie, Turbo. Turbo was the studio's first movie to use MARI and helped to innovate a process for painting the prominently featured Indy cars. DreamWorks Animation adopted MARI into the production pipeline in 2011.

PIXOMONDO: Star Trek Into the Darkness'

NUKEX & MARI

The team at Pixomondo used NUKE & MARI in a really cool innovative way on the much anticipated Star Trek Into the Darkness' . CG Supervisor - Enrico Damm, CG Artist - Sergei Eichmann & Compositing Supervisor - Dan Cobbett will share with you how they used it on the movie, the challenges they faced and how they overcame them using The Foundry's tools.

TIPPETT: Buicks Dinotasia'

KATANA

Tippett went back to their roots' when they created a herd of lumbering CG dinosaurs for Buick's Dinotasia' commercial where they ran everything through KATANA for the spot. Head of R&D, Mike Root will be joining us from Berkeley to tell you how they did it. Tippett was one of the first mid-range' studios to adopt KATANA last year, in addition to their NUKEs & MARIs.

CINESITE: World War Z

NUKEX & FTrack

Michele Sciolette, Head of VFX Technology at Cinesite - Soho UK will be joining the lineup to show how they have been using FTrack with NUKEX at their facility. You may have heard that we recently collaborated with the lovely folks at FTrack. Hear from Michele first hand how they put NUKE & FTrack through it's paces on World War Z.

SCOTT METZGER & DAVID KARLAK: Rise Project

MARI & MODO

Scott is always trying to find new ways to push our tools to the limit, and he has done it again! Come and see what he and David Karlak have been up to using MODO, MARI to create organic character work, 3D environments and hard surface texturing on a project they are calling Rise.

VIDEO CO-PILOT: Optical Flares for NUKE

Andrew Kramer aka Video Co-Pilot, will be coming along for a super special on off presentation to show Optical Flares for NUKE on Wednesday 24th July @ 3:20pm, not one to miss!!

Daily Presentations from The Foundry Team There will be daily presentations covering all the news from latest product releases for NUKEX, MODO & MARI.

Also, Dr Jon Strack who heads up the uber-brains in The Foundry Research Team will be coming along to give you updates on what the geeks have been working on back at HQ - plus a very exciting peek into the future of NUKE, these really are ones not to miss!

Other Booth Activity We will have two work stations manned by the US Creative Specialist Team showing MODO, MARI, KATANA, NUKE, HIERO & OCULA up close and personal. Drop by and have a chat and look with Mariana, Deke & Greg.

Our last session of the day on Wednesday 24th July at 5.20pm we will have a special Digital Matte Painting presentation in Japanese by our very own Hiroshi Iwamoto.

We will also have a pod on NVidia's booth (booth # 201) where we'll be showing MARI, NUKE & MARI. Plus, Andy Lomas will be showing off KATANA on Pixar's booth theatre.
