Belarus Hotel is to host the First joint meeting of the RCC Human Resources Development Council and the Fourteenth meeting of the Working Group to work with the ITU on September 3-4, 2015 02.09.2015

On September 3-4, 2015, the specialists and management of RUE Beltelecom take part in the First joint meeting of the Human Resources Development Council of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications and the Fourteenth meeting of the Working Group to work with the International Telecommunication Union to be held in Gallery Hall of Belarus Hotel.

The RCC Human Resources Development Councilwas set up in accordance with the RCC Charter on the basis of the decision of the Council of Heads of the RCC Communication Administrations of July 15-16, 2014 No 49 / 20-18 on the basis of the RCC Human Resources Development Commission.

During the joint meeting it is planned to consider a number of the following issues:

- Program of the RCC Human Resources Development Council for2015-2016;

- Draft Program on the implementation of the Fields of activities of educational institutions of the RCC member countries for training of specialists in the field of communications and information technologies;

- Establishment and operation of Training Centers on the basis of Higher education institutions of the RCC member countries;

- Opening of the Regional Training Centre for the RCC postal communications specialists;

- Experience of Eastern European universities in implementation of training and skills development programs;

- Review of WSIS outcomes implementation. Information on WSIS Forum preparation (December 14-15, 2015, New York, USA);

- Outcomes of work of the Telecommunication Development Advisory Group (TDAG);

- Implementation of WTDC-14 regional initiatives;

- Results of the 2015 session of the ITU Council;

- Candidates for managerial positions in working bodies of the ITU Radiocommunication Sector (ITU-R);

- RCC CAs preparation for the ITU international events to be held in 2016, 2017 and 2018, etc.

Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications (RCC) was set up on December 17, 1991 in Moscow by the Heads of Communications Administrations (CA) of independent states. That day they signed the Agreement on Establishment of the RCC an organization missioned to carry out cooperation between new independent states in the field of telecommunication and postal communication based on their free will, principles of mutual respect and sovereignty.

In October 1992 in Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic) the Heads of Government of the CIS countries signed the Agreement on coordination of interstate relations in the field of postal- and tele-communication, which vested the RCC with the authority of an interstate coordinating body in the field of tele- and postal communication. The RCC principle tasks are the extension of mutual beneficial relations between the RCC CAs in the course of harmonization of development of communications networks and facilities; coordination in the field of scientific and technical policy, radiospectrum management, tariff policies for communication services and settlements, staff training; interaction with the international organizations in the field of communications and informatization, information interchange, etc.
