Polecam Systems will be exhibiting at BVE Expo 2016 on stand #Q10 at London ExCel, 23rd - 25th February
At BVE Expo 2016 Polecam Systems will show the latest Polecam rigs along with new innovations and products, including the launch of the new Autopod, a remotely operated programmable elevation unit for rigs, remote heads and cameras.
Also on show the new Polecam PSP Skeleton rig, a stripped down version of market leading Polecam Starter Pack PLUS (PSP ) rig ready to receive the DJI Ronin or Ronin M.
As the appointed UK and European Centre of Excellence for Toshiba Europe Broadcast, Polecam will be showing the latest 4K and HD minicams available and the perfect partners in UHD Prime and HD Zoom lens capabilities from Fujinon and Resolve Optics including the Fujinon TF4XA-1 prime UHD lens, the Fujinon XT17SX4 and Resolve Z10 both with powered zoom and control providing 17x and 10x zoom respectively. Polecam will happily fly the Sony A7S, FS7, F5/55 cameras, along with many other leading manufacturers - Black Magic Design, Canon, Panasonic, RED and more
The Antelope Camera Systems PICO high speed ultra-motion minicam will be on show with its dedicated FishFace underwater housing and new lens drive.
The PICO minicam is capable of producing stunning ultra slow motion HD footage up to 350fps and can be mounted on a Polecam to give stunning ultra Slo-Mo POV both above and below water.
There are also two Polecam promotions running during February and March - a Free Pelicase with each PSP system purchased and a Free Wire Strut System when 2 extra full carbon sections are purchased
If you are a programme maker and not yet aware of Polecam, then you really should be looking at what it can quickly and simply do to elevate your output to another level. Polecam continues to offer a broad spectrum of crane platforms to suit all kinds of shooting and at all levels including 4K.
Polecam has a wide user base and the introduction of new features have brought entry level costs down. The rig's motorised heads, the precision use of larger high end cameras such as the Canon C300, Sony F5, 55 & 7, the Black Magic Design series, RED Epic, Panasonic 171 and all leading manufacturers of DSLRs including the Panasonic GH4 and Sony A7s. The modular build also provides a great platform for Minicams manufacturers such as Antelope Camera Systems, CameraCorps, Ikegami, IO Industries, Panasonic, Toshiba and more, these can be flown out to a reach of 8m.

Steffan Hewitt and Stephen Rutherford from the UK team will be there, along with a number of top Polecam owner operators, any of whom will be happy to answer all your questions and demonstrate the kit. It's also an opportunity to get hands-on yourself with Polecam, but be warned - within a few minutes you will probably want one!
Polecam's attraction has always been a winning combination of portability, speed of rig/derig, which adds production value without hassle. Achieving crane shots where no other rig could go and getting right in to where the action is. Crane shots up a mountain! No problem. In a small location studio! No problem. On a small boat! No problem.
The company has continued to develop and refine Polecam, never standing still and today Polecam Systems offer a wide choice of ways to own a rig. The Polecam Starter Pack (PSP ) is an entry level platform with a maximum payload of 3.6kg and will comfortably accommodate all the leading manufacturers larger format cameras. Alternatively for those wishing to literally just add a camera' then the Polecam Professional Pack (PPP) with either Long, Wide or Narrow head is ultimate camera crane system. Configured as 7th Heaven, the Polecam rig has an extended reach of 8m/26 and when fitted with a minicam, you can get right in close to where the action really is, giving a unique creative viewpoint to your productions.
There is a whole range of HD Minicams, other Specialised cameras, Remote heads, Remote Controls and Accessories, including underwater add-ons and Extreme Ultra Motion too.
