Time Warner Inc. Recognized by CECP: The CEO Force For Good Named a Leading Global Brand in Corporate Responsibility and Social Investment
In the largest corporate social engagement survey of 258 companies, CECP findings reveal stable rates of corporate giving across the US

New York, NY-CECP: The CEO Force for Good, in association with The Conference Board, has released their annual Giving in Numbers Report which names Time Warner Inc. an industry leader in corporate giving and corporate social responsibility programs. The Giving in Numbers Report is one of the largest, most robust and internationally-recognized report on corporate social engagement.
Time Warner ranked in the top 25% of companies in the Giving in Numbers Report when measured based on total giving. Companies in the top 25% reported giving at least $53 million in 2016. The median total giving in 2016 among all 258 respondents was $19 million.

This last year has been marked by unprecedented global challenges and widespread uncertainty, yet the business community has consistently stepped up when called to task, said Daryl Brewster, CEO, CECP. Giving in Numbers delivers vital lessons on how leading companies are effectively addressing social issues, and plots a course for corporations in pursuit of social equity.
Time Warner and its Divisions are committed to supporting and investing in a number of nonprofits that support a broad range of artistic, cultural and humanitarian causes. The Company also invests philanthropic dollars in funding organizations and initiatives that expand access and cultivate opportunities for diverse artistic communities around the country.
The Company also provides year-round volunteer opportunities, initiatives and events for employees. Home Box Office, Turner and Warner Bros. each host dedicated volunteer days and weeks, providing coordinated volunteer activities with local and global nonprofit organizations attended by thousands of employees across the Company. The Volunteer Time Program lets employees take up to 40 hours of paid time each year to volunteer and contribute to nonprofit organizations, while under its Employee Grants program Time Warner matches employees' charitable donations dollar for dollar up to a specified amount. Time Warner also sponsors employees and their families and friends who participate in fundraising events such as the Bronx Zoo's Run for the Wild. Funds from the run/walk event directly support the efforts of the Wildlife Conservation Society.
A tradition for over 30 years, Time Warner honors employees who have made exceptional contributions to public service in their local communities and around the world through its annual Richard D. Parsons Community Impact Awards, named after former Time Warner chairman and CEO Richard D. Parsons, an advocate for underserved communities, philanthropic causes and charitable institutions. Winners of the Community Impact Awards receive a financial donation to the charitable cause of their choice.
