New African series channel launches on Zuku --

The African Movie Channel, which airs movies and series from Nigeria s Nollywood and the rest of Africa, has launched a new African series channel on Wananchi s Zuku Pay TV platform.
TV soaps, comedies and drama shows from Nigeria and other countries in Africa broadcast 24 hours a day on the channel titled: African Movie Channel Series (AMC Series).
Yinka Mayungbo, co-founder and director of African Movie Channel commented, We have a plethora of African talent bursting with creative energies and routinely churning out five-star content. This new channel is the perfect medium to showcase their fantastic works illustrating the rich African narrative. We are delighted to work in partnership with Zuku who have demonstrated a strong commitment to African programming.
Co-founder and director Lola Onigbogi added, AMC has long solidified itself as a major player in broadcasting Nollywood and African film across Africa. AMC Series marks a new era of unique tailored programming in Africa. AMC Series together with AMC, provide the full package of unrivalled top-tier Nollywood and African TV programming.
