Streaming Around the Moon: NASA+ Goes Live From Historic Artemis II Mission

NASA's long-awaited Artemis II mission has launched four astronauts on a 10-day journey around the moon, marking the first manned launch toward the moon since the Apollo 17 mission in 1972. And, while the rest of us are stuck down here on earth, we can follow along via live views of space and the astronauts' activities inside the Orion capsule.

Over the next 10 days, NASA's official broadcast will offer live views NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Christina Koch and Victor Glover and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen, as well as a live feed of mission control views of space from Orion.

It's just the latest chapter in a series of compelling live-production and stream projects for NASA , the primary digital destination for audiences eager to follow humanity's return to the Moon. NASA's mandate, established in the Space Act of 1958, calls for the agency to share the story of exploration with the widest possible audience. Today, NASA serves as the modern extension of that mission, delivering rocket launches, astronaut spacewalks, and continuous views from the International Space Station directly to viewers across connected TVs, mobile devices, and the web.
