NetApp Recognized By CIO Magazine As One of the CIO 100 Award Honorees (2)

SUNNYVALE, Calif.-June 16, 2011-IDGs CIO magazine recently announced NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) as a recipient of the 2011 CIO 100 award for its Field Service Order (FSO) system, which uses automation to improve the NetApp partner and customer experience. The 24th annual award program recognizes organizations around the world that exemplify the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in information technology (IT).

NetApp was recognized for an FSO tool that was developed by NetApp IT in conjunction with the NetApp Global Services organization to improve electronic communications with external partners. This innovative system creates a more streamlined and efficient way to dispatch parts and field service personnel to locations around the world, providing greater service levels and improved business value for customers.
