Craig Abrams to Support Broadcast Customers in the North America

MOUNT OLIVE, NJ, JANUARY 22, 2015 - Integrated Microwave Technologies (IMT), a leader in advanced digital microwave systems serving the Broadcast, Sports & Entertainment and MAG (Military, Aerospace & Government) markets, today announced that it appointed Craig Abrams as its new North American Sales director for Broadcast business. Craig Abrams will drive innovative and integrated sales initiatives and strengthen channel management.

This hire is IMT's latest strategic step towards more commitment and a stronger presence of the growing and evolving Broadcast business in the region.

Craig Abrams joins IMT from Canare Corp. of America, manufacturer of SMPTE Hybrid Fiber Optic systems, EO/OE conversion products, video, audio cable and connectors for the television broadcast, staging and digital cinema markets. Craig's strong technical expertise and product knowledge comes from his previous employment at Nucomm, premium manufacturer of digital microwave video systems, one of the brands comprising IMT. Prior to that Craig Abrams held a number of sales and management positions with Quantel, Loral Skynet, Pioneer Electronics and Ampex Corporation.

Craig is a seasoned industry professional with over 30 years of extensive knowledge and deep connections within the Broadcast market under his belt. With his commitment to customer service and outstanding technical knowledge, he will be a great asset in the continued success of the IMT, says John Payne IV, IMT CTO and VP of Engineering. This key hire is a testament to our commitment to the Broadcast customers in the region. He will support IMT's growth as we continue to expand our product portfolio and service offerings.
