The Sports Video Group is excited to welcome M2A Media as a new corporate sponsor. The company is known for delivering live video products and solutions running in AWS Cloud to some of the world's largest sports rights owners, broadcasters, and OTT platforms. Founded in 2016, M2A Media operates at the forefront of the broadcast technology sector and following the launch of its latest product, M2A CONNECT, M2A is breaking new ground in the transport of live video over public cloud.
M2A CONNECT offers an intuitive interface and flexible public cloud service allowing sports rights owners, broadcasters and content aggregators to manage the distribution, acquisition and routing of live video streams. M2A CONNECT helps M2A Media's customers to increase speed to market, create efficiencies and future-proof their broadcast operations, providing a much-needed alternative to traditional video transport technologies, such as satellite.
Most recently, global sports OTT platform DAZN and New Zealand sports streaming service Spark Sport have chosen M2A CONNECT for the transport of their live sports content from partners worldwide. Other major international sports brands are using M2A CONNECT to handle distribution of live streams to their broadcast and OTT partners around the globe.
M2A Connect
As M2A Media expands its global reach, the company welcomes Simon Le Roux as Head of Sales, EMEA and Americas. Previously at Red Giant, Simon brings with him 25 years of sales and sales management experience. Eleven of these were spent at Adobe looking after broadcast customers and establishing the Flash platform for streaming video and then later Adobe Premiere Pro as the market leading editor for post production. Most recently Simon has consulted for a number of early stage companies in sales, strategy and management roles.
