Grass Valley Appoints magic multi media as EDIUS Master Distributor for North America

The deal covers distribution, support and training across the region

MONTREAL, April 7, 2019 Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, has appointed the German-based broadcast technology specialist magic multi media as the new North American master distributor for EDIUS non-linear real-time editing software. magic multi medias responsibility will include managing distribution of EDIUS through an extensive network of North American authorized dealers as well as providing technical support and comprehensive training for EDIUS customers and dealers, including tutorials, videos and over 100 EDIUS podcasts. Training resources will be provided in a range of languages, including English, Spanish and French.

We have worked with Grass Valley for a number of years in the EMEA market and have built considerable expertise in EDIUS. Through our dedicated network of authorized dealers we supply broadcast professionals, filmmakers, government agencies and others with this outstanding editing solution. EDIUS is available on a purchase basis, with free updates included in the current version 9 solution. EDIUS 9 customers will also benefit from free technical support eliminating the need to purchase an additional service plan. The first level of support is delivered by local dealers. Next-level technical assistance is now managed by magic multi media, leveraging a direct link to the EDIUS development team at Grass Valley, if required.

The dedicated EDIUS portal (www.EDIUS.net), available in multiple languages and managed by the magic multi media team, now also covers North America.
