Ericsson achieved a top connection to the 7 Gbps over 5G in a moving vehicle La experiencia piloto desarrollada en Estocolmo utiliz el mismo equipo de acceso de radio, los prototipos de radio 5G de Ericsson, que ya se est n usando en las pruebas de campo 5G de los operadores m viles.
Ericsson ha logrado una velocidad de conexi n m vil superior a los 7 Gbps en un veh culo en movimiento durante una prueba de la tecnolog a 5G realizada en la sede central de la compa a en Estocolmo.
Al mismo tiempo que los operadores m viles de todo el mundo planifican su negocio y la evoluci n de la red al 5G, la capacidad de soportar una movilidad a la velocidad de un veh culo ser cr tica para abordar diversos casos de uso de 5G, como los veh culos y aplicaciones de transporte inteligentes, como coches sin conductor y autobuses.
Joakim Sorelius, director de Arquitectura 5G de Ericsson, ha asegurado que en febrero logramos m s de 25 Gbps de velocidad tanto en dispositivos m viles como fijos. Ahora, nuestro ltimo logro tecnol gico en 5G permitir a los operadores hacer pruebas de campo de aplicaciones 5G clave que requieran una conectividad de alto rendimiento con coches, autobuses y trenes para casos de uso de veh culos y transportes inteligentes .
La demostraci n, que tuvo lugar en los alrededores de la sede central de Ericsson en Estocolmo, utiliz el mismo equipo de acceso de radio, los prototipos de radio 5G de Ericsson, que ya se est n usando en las pruebas de campo 5G de los operadores m viles.
El dispositivo 5G en la furgoneta de Ericsson fue capaz de mantener una conexi n m vil con la red de m s de 7 Gbps mientras circulaba por la carretera.
Para esta demostraci n en directo, los prototipos de radio 5G de Ericsson utilizaron la nueva interfaz de radio 5G llamada NR (nueva radio) junto con MIMO Masivo, combinaci n de MIMO y formaci n de haces con un amplio n mero de elementos de antena. MIMO Masivo mejora la experiencia de usuario con mayor velocidad y tambi n incrementa la cobertura, capacidad y eficiencia energ tica de la red m vil.
MIMO Masivo es tambi n uno de los plugins 5G de Ericsson, lanzado en junio, que son innovaciones de software dise adas para incorporar conceptos esenciales de la tecnolog a 5G en las redes m viles actuales.
Ericsson ya est trabajando con 20 operadores m viles l deres en todo el mundo en redes y casos de uso 5G, incluyendo pruebas de campo en 2016. El 5G tendr impacto en toda la red m vil mundial y su ecosistema asociado, desde dispositivos hasta acceso por radio al n cleo m vil y en la nube. Los prototipos de radio 5G y los plugins de Ericsson est n dise ados para la red de acceso por radio.
