And the nominees for the fierce Awards 2018 are... Author, Summer 1993, The call and Veronica are the most voted films in cinema, while television categories the lead The paper House, The Ministry of time and I know who you are.
We already know the nominees to the Fierce Awards 2018 among the 88 feature films and 40 drama series competing in this fifth edition of the awards.
On Tuesday, the actress Paula Echevarr a along with the host of the next gala of the fierce, Juli n L pez, and the President of the Association of film journalists from Spain, Pedro Vall n, have been responsible to announce the top rated titles in first round by the members of the AICE.
The films with the largest number of nominations are The author (8), Summer 1993 (7), The call (6) and Veronica (6). and as for the series, include the paper House, The Ministry of time and I know who you are, with 5 nominations each; as well as The area and Shame 4.
In the section on interpretation in the film category, there are six nominees: Marian Alvarez by Die, the Laia Artigas and Sandra Escacena newcomers by Summer 1993 (summer 1993) and Veronica respectively; as well as N ria Prims by Uncertain glory, Natalie Poza by I dont want to say goodbye and Maribel Verd for Abracadabra.
For his part, best actor protagonist in this mass category, you will find Santiago Alveru, who makes his debut with Selfiethe three times nominated for these awards Javier C mara by Faith of ETA, Andr s Gertr dix for their work in Die, and already holders of a fierce Prize: Antonio de la Torre by Abracadabra and Javier Gutierrez by The author. Next to the double finalist, there are other four interpreters that they opt to award for best actor in the series section: Eduard Fern ndez by The areawho could get his first ferocious after three nominations, all of them obtained by its cinematographic works; Francesc Garrido by I know who you are, Alvaro Morte by The paper House and Hugo Silva by The Ministry of timethat should he win he would receive an award for his role of Pacino, but on this occasion as main actor.
As well as its companion series, Aura Garrido could win his second Feroz by The Ministry of time and again as best actress. The list of finalists so complete Malena Alterio by Shame, rsula Corber by The paper House, Alexandra Jim nez by The area and Blanca Portillo by I know who you are.
New this year, the Feroz announced also, in mid-December, titles finalists the Special Prize (which distinguishes a film that would have deserved better luck in his commercial career) and the prize for best documentary (feature films, short films or) series).
Both awards, who so far voted for two committees specialized in a single turn, have changed their way of voting, including in this issue a shortlist of five nominees titles to facilitate greater visibility of these films.
