Warner Bros. Discovery U.S. Hispanic Unveils "Hispano Soy," a Television Event Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with Original Productions and Curated Content Across Its Networks

Miami, FL -September 14, 2024 -Warner Bros. Discovery U.S. Hispanic (WBD USH) announced the launch of Hispano Soy, a groundbreaking television event celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with original programming and commemorative promotional spots. Hispano Soy will be featured across WBD USH networks, including Discovery en Espa ol, Discovery Familia, and Hogar de HGTV, starting Sunday, September 15.
Discovery en Espa ol will premiere new seasons of the hit shows Desaf o X 2 M xico and Supervivencia al desnudo: Latinoam rica on Thursday, September 19 at 10 pm and 11 pm ET/PT, respectively. In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month programming, the network will also feature Te debo una: celebridades y autos; Canelo: la historia de un campe n; Cuban Chrome, and other top shows that highlight the resilience, perseverance, and cultural diversity of Latinos, with high-impact storytelling and immersive experiences. These series, made by Hispanics for Hispanics, will air every Sunday from 2 pm to 7 pm ET starting September 15.
Discovery Familia is set to join the celebration with five special programming blocks on Sundays. The commemorative slate includes the premiere of Kilos mortales: M xico, an acclaimed documentary series that follows the journey of individuals battling severe obesity, slated to premiere on Sunday, September 22 at 8 pm ET. Additionally, the lineup will feature blockbuster reality shows such as Juntos en Acci n, El Toque de Aar n, Quincea era, and Remodelaciones con celebridades Miami. These selected programs will air every Sunday from 2 pm ET, also starting Sunday, September 15.
Continuing the celebration of Hispanic culture and creativity, Hogar de HGTV will present popular series, including Los hermanos Rausch, which follows two brothers transforming ordinary spaces into extraordinary homes, as well as Hogar Star, a competition where aspiring designers vie to become the next big-name in-home styling. These shows will air every Sunday, starting September 15 at 2 pm ET.
This special programming across networks will be unveiled under the Hispano Soy banner, a vibrant promotional campaign featuring engaging short videos across all WBD USH linear and digital properties. The promotional spots, showcasing distinct Hispanic expressions and phrases, celebrate the Hispanic linguistic heritage and foster community pride.

Desaf o X2 M xico- 9/19 at 10 pm ET/PT
Two individuals with vastly different survival strategies face some of the most relentless terrains in Latin America to demonstrate how the right skills and creative thinking can keep them alive.
Supervivencia al desnudo: Latinoam rica- 9/19 at 11 pm ET/PT
Ten participants take on the planet's most extreme challenge: surviving 21 days in a harsh region of Colombia, teeming with predators like pumas, jaguars, caimans, and anacondas. Can they face natures dangers without food, water, or clothing?
Cuban Chrome-9/22 at 2 pm ET
This series follows a group of enthusiasts in Cuba who restore and maintain classic cars. For them, cars are more than a mode of transportation; they are a way of life. The series provides insight into Cuban culture, and the challenges the club faces, such as the difficulty of importing parts from the United States.
Te debo una: celebridades y autos- 9/29 at 2 pm ET
This docu-reality show reveals the intimate and personal side of Mexican celebrities who find an opportunity to express their gratitude to someone special. Alongside two expert auto restorers, the celebrities repair and customize cars to give away to their loved ones who have significantly impacted their lives.
Canelo: la historia de un campe n- 10/6 at 2 pm ET
The story of Sa l Canelo lvarez is the fulfilled dream of every boxer in the world. Born into a humble family, with tenacity and effort, Canelo became the best boxer of the moment and in Mexicos history. But his life hasn't been all successes and joys, and this documentary also captures the hardships he has faced.

Kilos mortales M xico- 9/22 at 8 pm ET/PT
A documentary series following individuals struggling with extreme obesity, who need to lose weight and undergo surgery to save their lives. Guided by bariatric doctors, they undergo a treatment that will transform them physically and emotionally.
Juntos en acci n- 9/15 at 2 pm ET
A captivating renovation reality series that melds star power with heart-rending stories. Each episode features celebrity couple, Carlos Ponce and Karina Banda, championing renewal projects and engaging U.S. Hispanic stars, businesses, and organizations to revitalize community institutions.
El toque de Aar n- 9/22 at 2 pm ET
Chef Aar n S nchez, alongside designer Cris Mercado and project manager ngel Riveros, take under their wings Latino-owned restaurants, providing them with unparalleled mentorship and a pathway to refresh their businesses and help propel them to the next level.
