Programmer - Render Specialist

MAXON is expanding its international team of developers and is looking for an experienced render specialist for the continued development of its flagship products CINEMA 4D and BodyPaint 3D

Our award-winning software solutions CINEMA 4D and BodyPaint 3D are used by notable companies such as The Walt Disney Company, BMW, Sony Pictures Imageworks, FOX, NBC and many more. Meeting and exceeding our customer needs is a challenge that we meet on a daily basis. To help us meet future challenges we are looking for a programmer specializing in the field of rendering to join our growing team.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for the development of new functions and technologies for our flagship product, CINEMA 4D. Your primary responsibilities will be the maintenance, optimization and development of our render engine. You will work closely with our development team, product managers, UX designers and QA department.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a software developer with a very good understanding of 2D/3D software development and at least 3 years programming experience. Someone who has excellent C++ skills who also has experience with render engine development. The ideal candidate is also very knowledgeable in the field of 3D render technologies and has sound knowledge of real-time rendering and render algorithms such as global illumination, MLT, photon mapping, progressive rendering, volume rendering, baking, etc. You should have an eye for detail, an excellent understanding of current research publications and well-founded mathematical skills.

We are looking for a dependable team player who can also work independently, meet deadlines and can communicate will in both German and English
