Story Highlights

It's been just over a year since the newest, most technologically advanced arena in the country, Intuit Dome, first opened its doors to live sports. The resident LA Clippers played their first game there on October 23, 2024 and won their first regular season game shortly later on November 4. Under the hood of this spectacular building and its stunning double-sided Halo Board video display, are 4K HDR workflows, SMPTE 2110-powered control room, and so much more.

In this exclusive presentation, members of the LA Clippers' production team and the venue's systems integrator, BeckTV, reflect on the tech installation process and run down the key equipment that are used to make the arena the entertaining place it has become.

This panel discussion includes:

Francisco Castillo, LA Clippers, Manager of Broadcast and Production Services

Jason Lemiere, LA Clippers, Head of Broadcast

Jared Ponce, LA Clippers, Director of Game Presentation

EDITOR'S NOTE: Since the recording of the conversation, Francisco Castillo and Jason Lemire have moved on to new companies. Lemiere is now VP of Business Development and Sales for Epic Systems and Castillo is a producer and director for live events at SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park.

This presentation was hosted at the SVG Venues & Teams Summit at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on July 25 and was moderated by Brock Raum, Senior Engineer at BeckTV.
