The Film Arcade and Cinedigm Nab Sundance Award Winner Afternoon Delight Jill Soloways directorial debut stars Kathryn Hahn, Juno Temple, Josh Radnor and Jane Lynch

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Film Arcade and Cinedigm (NASDAQ: CIDM) are proud to announce the acquisition of Afternoon Delight, a provocative comedy about sex, marriage and finding yourself again. The film, which won the Directing Award in the U.S. Dramatic Competition at Sundance, marks the feature directorial debut of Jill Soloway (Six Feet Under, How to Make It In America, United States of Tara). The all-star cast includes Juno Temple, Josh Radnor, Jane Lynch and Kathryn Hahn in a role that IndieWires Matt Cohen called her moment to shine. Jen Chaiken (Inequality for All) and Sebastian Dungan (Transamerica) produced the film through their company, 72 Productions. The Film Arcade will release the film theatrically with Cinedigm handling all ancillary distribution.

Afternoon Delight follows Rachel (Kathryn Hahn, Step Brothers, Were the Millers), a quick-witted, yet tightly-coiled, thirty-something bored with her daily routine of preschool auctions, a lackluster sex life and career that has gone kaput. Looking to spice-up her marriage, Rachel takes her husband Jeff (Josh Radnor, How I Met Your Mother, Liberal Arts) to a strip club and meets McKenna (Juno Temple, Killer Joe, The Dark Knight Rises), a stripper she becomes obsessed with saving. Rachel adopts McKenna as her live-in nanny, wreaking havoc on her friends, family and herself.
