The liquidators of Sentinel Broadcast, which collapsed at the same time as Arena Television, have launched legal action against Lloyd Bank.

City AM reports the liquidators have launched a commercial fraud case against Lloyds.

Sentinel Broadcast was said to be a supplier to Arena Television, which collapsed in November 2021.

In August 2022, Arena's administrators Kroll launched a £285 million claim against Paul Froom from Sentinel Broadcast and Nicholas Cousins, thought to have held a senior finance role at Arena, who were accused of providing dishonest assistance to Arena's directors Richard Yeowart and Robert Hopkinson.

The claim by Sentinel Broadcast's administrators follows a separate civil case brought by the liquidators of Arena Television against Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland earlier this year.

Kroll Advisory is suing the banks for £285 million over payments that were processed without authority .
