KDDI Corporation
Okinawa Cellular Telephone Company
September 13,2021
-- At the end of September 2021 (scheduled), KDDI and Okinawa Cellular Telephone Company plan to launch a new incentive system called #Giga Katsu in povo2.0 where subscribers can earn data credits by using various shops and services on a daily basis.
In #Giga Katsu, we will carry out three initiatives: earn data credits at a store that subscribers use every day, search for a data credits hidden in the city or a virtual event, and win a data credits by lottery. For example, at Lawson and Sukiya, if subscribers purchase 500 yen or more with au PAY, they will get 300MB of data (to be used in 3 days), so they can enjoy using povo2.0 at a great value.
In addition, as an initiative to further enjoy #Giga Katsu, we will implement FIND povo from Autumn 2021 where subscribers can get more data credits than usual when subscribers find yellow items that are the brand color of povo.
Furthermore, we are also looking for partner companies to make #Giga Katsu more routine in every day.
The povo Business Partner Program (hereinafter referred to as the Program) will start on September 13, 2021. Participating partner companies will be able to plan measures for customers using the data credits of povo2.0, which can be effectively used for efforts to increase the value of products and services.
KDDI and Okinawa Cellular Telephone Company promote the integration of telecommunications and life design, and as a company that continues to produce excitement, while responding to customer feedback, they continue to offer advantageous rates and highly reliable services. We will create new experience value through the provision of consumer friendly plans and reliable services.
Please refer to the attached sheet for details.
About #Giga Katsu #Giga Katsu is a feature that allows subscribers to earn data credits that can be used with povo2.0 in the following three ways. The data credits earned through #Giga Katsu can be used by entering the promo code in the povo2.0 app at any time before their expiration date.
