Peterborough City Hospital take delivery of a new Fujifilm FCR Capsula

Fujifilm is a pioneer in diagnostic imaging and information systems for healthcare facilities, with a range of constantly evolving clinically proven products and technologies designed to assist medical professionals perform more efficiently and effectively. The company are pleased to announce the installation of another FCR Capsula system at Peterborough City Hospital.
Part of the Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Peterborough City Hospital has predominantly used Fujifilm Capsula systems since 2002 and have replaced their older Capsula's with newer models over the past few years.
David Truman, Operational Superintendent Radiographer at Peterborough Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said of the recent installation: Ive been at Peterborough for 18 years; 6 of which were spent with the RAF where I was posted to the newly created MoD Hospital Unit. Ive been Superintendent for the last 8 years and have always found Fujifilm's Capsula system a reliable and easy to use system that delivers the quality we need at our busy hospital.
David continued: We have even moved all the systems from our two previous Trust sites into our brand new hospital facility, where we use the Fujifilm system for general x-ray outpatients, inpatients and A&E work throughout Peterborough City Hospital.
The FCR Capsula can process up to 72 images per hour and has Fujfilm's revolutionary vertical cassette loading method, so workspace is reduced compared to previous horizontal insertion models, with no compromise in speed or image quality.
