Fujifilm is delighted to announce its third collaboration with iconic luxury British luggage manufacturer Globe-Trotter.
To celebrate the release of the greatly coveted Fujifilm X-T1 Graphite Silver edition, Fujifilm and Globe-Trotter have joined forces to create an exclusive mirrorless camera kit.
Beautifully crafted, by hand, on original Victorian machinery at the Globe-Trotter workshop in Hertfordshire, England, each bespoke, 21" Trolley Case features a Fujifilm X-T1 camera body in Graphite Silver, a range of hand-picked award-winning Fujifilm FUJINON Optics, dedicated accessories and an engraved Apple iPad Air 2 16GB. The set also includes a unique handmade Day Bag, featuring leather straps, plush internal dividers to protect the X-T1 and its accompanying lenses, beautifully embossed with the iconic Globe-Trotter logo.
The limited edition run of 10 handmade travel cases is available exclusively at Harrods from Saturday 20th December 2014.

Launched in Germany to critical acclaim, the 16.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS II X-T1 in Graphite Silver is Fujifilm's latest weather resistant interchangeable lens camera, and is the jewel in the crown of the advanced X-CSC range. Paired with one of Fujifilm's award-winning FUJINON lenses included in the case, such as the XF23mm F1.4 R, XF56mm F1.2 R APD, XF18-55mm F2.8-4 R LM OIS or XF50-140mm F2.8 R OIS WR, the camera caters to the most diverse of shooting conditions and subjects. Lens filters, vertical battery grip and an EF-X20 flash also accompany the set, and the addition of an engraved iPad Air 2 16GB with WiFi ensures that the X-T1's venerable WiFi capabilities are utilised to their full potential, with effortless transfer and sharing of images.
Showcasing Globe-Trotter's timeless style and dedication to British craftsmanship, each Trolley Case is hand crafted from Grey vulcanised fibreboard and is beautifully finished with exquisite hand-moulded Caramel leather corners, handles and straps and Chrome locks. Each case is accompanied by a bespoke leather Luggage Tag, embossed with the iconic logos of Globe-Trotter, Fujifilm and Harrods.
Priced at £11,500, these ten exquisite cases will be available in-store at Harrods technology department from Saturday 20th December.

ABOUT GLOBE-TROTTER:
Globe-Trotter was founded by David Nelken in Saxony, Germany, in 1897. The company relocated to England in 1932, where it has remained ever since. Every Globe-Trotter suitcase is handmade from start to finish on original Victorian machinery at the Globe-Trotter factory in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. Globe-Trotter cases are made from a unique material called Vulcanised Fibreboard, which is 14 layers of specially bonded paper, coloured to specification. This material was invented by Englishman Thomas Taylor in 1859. The corners, handles and straps are crafted from leather. Globe-Trotter luggage has been used by an enviable client list over the past 117 years, including HM Queen Elizabeth II, Sir Edmund Hillary, Captain Robert Falcon Scott, Kate Moss, Daniel Craig and Dita Von Teese.
