Host broadcaster for the FIA Extreme H World Cup, Aurora Media Worldwide, has evolved its production strategy for the new racing series from its predecessor, Extreme E into the new realm of hydrogen-fuelled motorsport. With the first Extreme H held immediately after the final ever Extreme E in Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia - the Final Lap from Oct. 4-5 and Extreme H from Oct. 9-11 - the team had to take what it had learned from the electric series and push it into a multi-discipline, multi-day event that saw the production having to switch gears in rapid succession.

The first ever Extreme H event took place in a storm of sand and dust Oct. 9-11 in the new city of Qiddiya, in Saudi Arabia.

For the first FIA Extreme H World Cup in Saudi Arabia, the entire host broadcast production team from Aurora Media Worldwide was on the ground in the new city of Qiddiya. With so many moving parts - literally - and unknowns to the production, it was a case of all Aurora hands on deck.

Shifting gear fast on this production was essential, with multiple back-to-back days of new format racing. Extreme H now includes Time Trials, Head-to Head and Multi-Car disciplines, which culminate in a winner takes all, eight-car World Cup Final.
