nangu.TV, the pioneering media platform provider for IPTV and OTT services, is demonstrating a number of key features at ANGA COM. As well as its IP and interactive services, nangu.TV will highlight its remote control and multi-screen application for tablet, smartphones and set-top box devices via its new HD user interface and its Recommendation Engine.

Visitors to the nangu.TV booth will see how the company's latest product - Interactive CATV - enhances solutions for DVB-T/T2/C/S2 by allowing the addition of interactive, IP-delivered services for cable operators. This provides a greater competitive edge by giving end users more interactivity via their TV using existing infrastructure. The company's feature-rich interactive applications ensure the best user experience, including simple content management and easy-to-manage subscriptions and payment systems.

nangu.TV will highlight its new Recommendation Engine addressing the global issue that viewers' face when trying to navigate their way through vast quantities of television content. nangu.TV's Recommendation Engine is a key element of its Media Platform and provides operators with a route to greater customer satisfaction and loyalty therefore increasing ARPU. Available for download via the App Store or Google Play, the nangu.TV Recommendation Engine is part of the company's remote control and multi-screen application for tablet, smartphones and set-top box devices. It enables viewers watching content powered by the nangu.TV platform to receive recommendations based on previous viewing habits and established patterns.

Using the nangu.TV app it's also now possible for consumers to control their TV using a tablet or Smartphone device. This remote application enables simple browse capability with on/off, play, pause, start again and volume adjustment. Pop-up push notifications on the second screen alert the user that content is starting and a single click plays it on the TV. The search optimisation is highly advanced enabling filtering based on chosen criteria. Users can search, record, bookmark or play content on the TV freeing up the second device.

With the integration of apps on mobile, tablet and smart TVs, watching OTT content across multi-screen devices has never been easier. Using the nangu.TV app users simply purchase the application and access content on the platform using the pin number provided by their operator.
