Roberto Pascual, appointed new member of IABM EMEA Members' Council

VSN's Sales Director for the EMEA region has been announced as a new member of EMEA Members' Council of the International Association for Broadcast & Media Technology Suppliers (IABM). This Council, whose Chairman is Ole Clausen, started its activity in September 2017 with representatives of companies based in nine European countries.

IABM international association kicks off its new EMEA Members' Council with a representative of VSN. Roberto Pascual, Sales Director for EMEA region, will actively participate in this Council that, following the example of Americas and APAC boards, aims to give a greater prominence to all the European members of the Broadcast and Media & Entertainment industry that it represents.

Thanks to the appointment of VSN's executive as a member of this board, the company will keep being an active decision-maker of the most important international association in the whole sector, as well as keep supporting the development and presence of IABM in the Spanish market.

Established in 1976, IABM association is governed by a Board of Members that elects and appoints its directors. This Board is also responsible for the general management of the association, as well as for setting, reviewing and changing, if necessary, all the policies that need to be implemented by the IABM.

The newly formed EMEA Members' Council, in the words of IABM's Director of Business Development, Darren Whitehead, presents a large geographic extension to ensure the representation of all European members. In the future, IABM plans also to strengthen its presence throughout Europe even more, thanks to the creation of subsidiary local councils in countries such as Germany, Scandinavia and France , stated the current President for EMEA Council, Olen Clausen, founder and CEO of Danmon Group and Dan Technologies.

Alongside VSN, other influential companies also represented on this board are Anevia, Appear TV, ARRI, Arvato Systems, DMC, Guntermann & Drunck, Nagra, Skyline Communications and TSL Professional Products, among others.
