VIMOND Launches Enhanced Video Editing Tool, Accelerates Workflow Proce

Vimond Media Solutions is launching a greatly improved Vimond IO product that incorporates features and capabilities from Vimond Highlights, its live-to-VOD conversion tool. The enhanced Vimond IO provides greater online video storytelling power and delivers dramatic gains in workflow efficiency, reducing clip-creation time by up to 90 percent.

By integrating features from Vimond Highlights, the cloud-based Vimond IO enables broadcast and online media journalists, editors and marketers to create short stories extrapolated from live streams and VOD assets, either for later use or direct publishing to broadcast, OTT video and social media outlets. In beta trails, the enhanced Vimond IO enabled one leading broadcaster to reduce its edit-to-publish workflow process from 30 to 3 minutes, potentially increasing output by a factor of 10.
