Arkona and Manifold Technologies Sign Savana Comunicacoes...

arkona technologies GmbH & manifold technologies GmbH have signed Savana Comunica es Ltda, a well-established provider of specialized services and professional broadcast equipment, to bring its IP core infrastructure solutions to the top-tier broadcasters in the Brazilian market. The partnership has already proven successful, with the companies closing their first deal with a major Brazilian broadcaster.

Savana Comunica es, founded in 1983 in Rio de Janeiro, has a long history of serving customers with cutting-edge technology and specialized services. The company has earned a reputation for expertise and reliability through its skilled technical staff located throughout Brazil.

Savana Comunica es has now expanded its portfolio to include arkona's award-winning BLADE//runner platform to provide an easy migration path to an IP infrastructure for top tier broadcasters. Designed around a highly flexible and modular software framework, BLADE//runner comprises a suite of live broadcast production software and hardware tools for professional productions including audio/video routing, compression and processing. The platform, designed for the modern broadcast facility, where flexibility and scalability are essential, operates on arkona's AT300 FPGA Acceleration Card. It allows for the creation, control and deletion of all processing functions on the fly through the Company's web-based UI, open APIs, as well as through NMOS IS-04/-05.

Savana will also sell, service and support manifold technologies. manifold technologies offer the manifold CLOUD broadcast production software that runs on COTS FPGA programmable acceleration cards (PAC). The multifunctional platform includes the popular manifold MULTIVIEWER, the industry's most powerful ultra-low latency multiviewer that handles the most demanding live sports productions while simultaneously providing the benefits of scalability, resiliency, quick deployment and unified control.
