Barco Healthcare partners with Delasco to bring its skin imaging platform, Demetra, to the United States Atlanta, Georgia, 5 November 2020 - Barco, the leader in healthcare display solutions, announced today a partnership with Delasco, a leading manufacturer and distributor of dermatology supplies and equipment, to expand the award-winning dermatology technology, Demetra, to the United States. As a trusted supplier to more than 7,000 dermatology care providers, Delasco is the ideal partner to bring Demetra to America and provide best-in-class diagnostic capabilities to the dermatological community.

Co-developed with dermatologists, the Demetra solution combines the best of analogue and digital skin imaging to allow dermatologists to take dermoscopic as well as clinical images and make mapping, follow-up and comparison of skin lesions smoother and smarter. The solution's innovative technology and unique design represent the next generation of dermoscopy. With an estimated one in five Americans diagnosed with skin cancer in their lifetime, Demetra will help health systems move toward more preventative models of care.
