Astro Radio Sabah Activates #Kamicare4sabah Charity Drive

Kota Kinabalu, 19 October 2020 - HITZ Sabah, ERA Sabah, and MY Sabah in collaboration with 'Sazarice' and 'Bataras Hypermarket' is kicking off the Kami Care 4 Sabah campaign from 19 till 23 October 2020 to provide daily necessities, such as rice, cooking oil, canned food, sugar, milk or flour, to vulnerable Sabahan families during the Conditional Movement Control Order.

Hafizuddin Nizamuddin, General Manager, Astro Radio, East Malaysia, said, During this difficult time, we extend our support to all Sabahan families in need through the Kami Care 4 Sabah charity drive. We thank all listeners and clients for their contributions and we encourage those who are able, to continue to be generous. We hope the aid received helps alleviate the struggles faced by many families.

All Sabahans can contribute to the Kami Care 4 Sabah drive by purchasing necessities at three selected Bataras Hypermarket outlets: Bataras Bandar Sierra, Bataras Bundusan and Bataras Putatan. Upon completion of purchase, items can be dropped off at the designated #KamiCare4Sabah station, near the Bataras Hypermarket main exits.

Astro Radio Sabah has also received generous donations from clients including Sazarice', Bataras', Sabah Bumiputera Travel & Car Rental Agents Association' (PAKEBS), Annona Bird's Nest', Passfume', VMagic', Daikin KK', Wah Yoon', Tung E' and Popoutink'.

Throughout the Kami Care 4 Sabah charity drive, all donated aid will be delivered to affected families by the Sabah State Disaster Management Committee and the Sabah State Defense Force.
