ENDEMOL BRINGS YOUR FACE SOUNDS FAMILIAR TO ARGENTINA AHEAD OF MIPCOM 2013 Endemol, the world's largest independent production company, today announced a new deal for its global hit Your Face Sounds Familiar. The celebrity talent show has been commissioned by Telefe in Argentina where it will run for 13 episodes in a prime time slot. The new series is being produced by Endemol Argentina and will feature a line-up of Argentine stars.
Argentina is the latest country to pick up Your Face Sounds Familiar in Latin America where the format has already sold to numerous territories including Brazil, Panama, Chile, Peru and Colombia.
The new series on Telefe comes in the lead up to MIPCOM 2013 where Argentina will be Country of Honour.

Martin Kweller will be speaking at MIPCOM 2013 alongside other leading industry figures from Argentina as the market pays tribute to the country. On Monday 7th October he will be taking part in the View from the Top' panel in the Palais des Festivals (10am-11am; Auditorium A, Level 3).
Originally created by Endemol Spain, Your Face Sounds Familiar has now sold to over 30 territories including US, UK, China, across Europe, Latin America, Asia and the CIS. Further deals are due to be announced soon.
Your Face Sounds Familiar is a celebrity talent show with a comedy twist. The format sees well known personalities take on a new identity as an iconic music performer. The catch is they could find themselves transformed into someone far older, younger or even of the opposite sex.
