North Bristol Completes Another Successful PACS Upgrade

North Bristol Trust (NBT) recently completed the latest upgrade of Fujifilm's Synapse PACS. Following installation in 2014, the Trust has enjoyed the annual upgrades which Fujifilm provides to customers as an integral part of their service agreement. Upgrades are completed with virtually zero down-time during weekends to ensure the least disruption to daily clinics and patient care.

Synapse PACS upgrades represent fine tuning to an exceptional product. Launched in 1999 as the first truly web-based PACS in the world, Fujifilm has relentlessly improved and innovated Synapse PACS, and this superior product now has over 5,200 installations worldwide and the global #1 ranking for market share. Recent upgrades enhanced both front end applications and backend solutions, improving user functionality and server performance. Sue Miller is already looking forward to next year's upgrade Synapse 5 will have a zero footprint viewer with even faster image display speed.
