Projector manufacturer Digital Projection has opened its very first Experience Centre in Dubai. The aim of the centre is to show proof of concept' application-based solutions such as 3D wall. InAVate spoke to Chris Axford, the company's international sales and marketing director at the official opening on the thinking behind the Centre.
When asked why Dubai was chosen as the location Axford replied, Digital Projection took a strategic decision to invest in the Middle East region five years ago and we have enjoyed a tremendous return on investment so far. The decision to build our first Experience Centre in Dubai was driven by the growth potential that lies ahead of us and the infectious ambition that can be found in abundance within the GCC region. We had reached a point where, without further investment, our growth might plateau so we decided to take a significant, proactive step forward.
The concept of the Experience Centre is that we inspire partners and customers by showing them applications where projection is still the best solution said Axford. We will naturally have our full range of laser projectors on-hand, but that alone would not show our full empathy and support of the ambition that led us to take our Middle East presence to the next level.
Since we are only' a displays company, it was essential to find eco-system' partners to work with in order to realise our goal of inspiring people Together with our Eco-System partners we will also be running workshops and training sessions not just on projectors but for the application based solutions the market seeks. Thankfully, we already knew who to approach and the support has been overwhelming. We have strengthened relationships and provided the opportunity to show what can be done; rather than just tell.
