Hispamar launches a program of incentives for the Brazilian audiovisual market La filial brasile a de Hispasat va a invertir m s de 1,5 millones de reales en la instalaci n de equipos en los principales operadores de televisi n de pago de Brasil para la recepci n de contenidos a trav s de banda C extendida. Hispamar Sat lites, la joint venture formada por Hispasat y Oi, ha iniciado una acci n comercial estrat gica en el mercado audiovisual brasile o por medio de la cual invertir m s de 1,5 millones de reales en un programa de instalaci n de equipos de recepci n en los principales operadores de pago del pa s. De este modo, los operadores podr n recibir sus contenidos tanto en banda C est ndar como en banda C extendida, menos vulnerable a las interferencias, incentivando as el uso de este ltimo tipo de frecuencia en el mbito audiovisual.
Seg n Sergio Chaves, director de Negocio para Am rica del Sur de Hispamar, uno de los objetivos del grupo Hispasat es estar siempre a la vanguardia tecnol gica. Al lanzar un sat lite de gran potencia y rendimiento como fue el Amazonas 2, Hispamar fue pionera en el uso de la banda C extendida en Brasil, con el fin de incrementar las barreras contra las interferencias. Ahora Hispamar asume el compromiso de promover el uso de esta tecnolog a en el mercado de la radiodifusi n para que pueda contar con m s opciones y capacidad para transmitir sus contenidos con eficacia, sin la necesidad de incurrir en gastos adicionales .
Chaves tambi n adelant que Hispamar est abierto a evaluar otros tipos de incentivos para sus clientes en el sector .
A finales de septiembre, cuando se completen las instalaciones de los equipos del programa de incentivos, los operadores de televisi n de pago en Brasil tendr n la posibilidad de usar la banda C extendida del Amazonas 2, pero tambi n podr n recibir sus contenidos en la misma antena a trav s de la banda C est ndar del Amazonas 3, ya que ambos sat lites operan en la misma posici n orbital 61 Oeste.
Participaci n en Andicom 2016 y SET
Hispasat y su filial brasile a Hispamar estar n presentes estos d as en dos eventos del sector en Am rica Latina: Andicom 2016, la feria dedicada a la industria de las TIC en Colombia que se celebra en Cartagena de Indias y SET Expo, que tiene lugar en Sao Paulo (Brasil).
El 1 de septiembre, Leonardo Dom nguez, gerente comercial para Am rica del Sur del grupo satelital, dar una conferencia sobre Tendencias, soluciones y nuevas iniciativas para Am rica Latina, en la que presentar al p blico la actividad del operador en Latinoam rica, as como los nuevos proyectos y soluciones previstos para la regi n. En la conferencia, Dom nguez hablar tambi n del programa Kioscos Vive Digital, en el que la compa a participa ofreciendo acceso a Internet a m s de 648 instituciones educativas en zonas remotas de Colombia a trav s del sat lite Hispasat 84W-1, y que desde 2013 contribuye a la reducci n de la brecha digital y el desarrollo de la Sociedad de la Informaci n en este pa s.
