New Sound for the rbb

(04/11/2013) The broadcasting station Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb) renews the control room equipment in the production studio T3 in collaboration with the German System Integrator BFE Studio und Medien Systeme GmbH.

The studio T3 is mostly used for music productions. The aim of the renewal is to modernize and upgrade the already existing studio technology in the control room T3 of the small broadcasting hall in Berlin considering the latest quality standards. In the course of the installation a mixer type C200HD by SSL is going to be integrated. The complete studio furniture is manufactured in BFE's in-house joinery. The completion date has been scheduled for January 2014.

The broadcasting station Berlin Brandenburg (rbb) is an institution under public law for the German states of Berlin and Brandenburg. As one of nine regional broadcasters forming the Association of Public Broadcasting Corporations in the Federal Republic of Germany (ARD), it contributes to the ARD common program, DAS ERSTE as well as to the public television community programs ARTE, 3sat, childrens channel, Phoenix and ARD Digital. In addition to the program, rbb offers video text and an online platform (www.rbb-online.de) with a total of 10 websites.

In addition to the two main studios in Berlin and Potsdam, the rbb maintains studios in Cottbus and Frankfurt (Oder) as well as regional offices in Perleberg and Prenzlau.

The rbb organizes its own TV program, six own radio programs and is involved in two radio broadcast cooperations.
