Audio-Technica ATND1061 and ATUC Discussion Systems Certified for Crestron Automate VX

Audio-Technica has announced that its ATND1061 ceiling array microphone and ATUC digital discussion systems have been certified by Crestron for use with the Automate VX voice-activated camera switching solution. The certification covers use in corporate boardrooms, classrooms, and government chambers.

The ATND1061 and ATUC serve as trigger sources for the Automate VX system, providing low-latency beam talker position data and discussion states for camera switching. The ATND1061DAN Dante-enabled array version is also supported. When paired with Automate VX, the ATUC's push-to-talk functionality triggers the appropriate camera to focus on the active participant.

The ATND1061 is a beamforming ceiling array microphone with six individual output channels and up to 32 user-defined pickup zones. The ATUC discussion system delivers 24-bit/48 kHz uncompressed digital audio with adjustable gain and EQ per participant microphone. Automate VX connects to Crestron 1 Beyond cameras to switch and autoframe the active speaker.
