Avid to Showcase Breakthrough Cloud Innovations at BVE 2016 18 February 2016

Burlington, MA, February 18, 2016 Avid today announced that its presence at Broadcast Video Expo (BVE), from 23-25 February at London's Excel, will focus on showcasing its latest innovations for media professionals, including the much anticipated Avid Cloud Collaboration for Pro Tools . Avid Cloud Collaboration delivers on Avid Everywhere by making it easy for audio professionals to compose, record, edit, and mix projects from any location worldwide.

This year's Avid stand (M60) comprises a demo bar', giving visitors the opportunity to get hands on with the latest Avid Artist Suite solutions including Avid Media Composer 8.5 as well as Avid Pro Tools 12.5 featuring Avid Cloud Collaboration.

The Avid demo bar will also feature workflow demonstrations showcasing how Orad solutions are fully integrated into the Avid MediaCentral Platform. Broadcasters and content creators can experience Avid Studio Suite solutions including the high-end slow-motion replay server, PlayMaker, which provides instant playback and extremely fast highlights editing for live sports and news production.

The Future of Storytelling - Wednesday 24 February, 1:45-3:15pm

A panel of top creative minds, including Caroline Law from Cloud Edits, and Edurne Bengoa from MSV Post, discuss how they keep audiences engaged and how they're reacting to post developments including virtual reality and interactive storytelling.

The Craft of the Edit - Thursday 25 February, 11:20am-12pm

As one of the most prolific and accomplished editors in television, Paddy Bird from Inside the Edit' takes to the stage to host a masterclass. Over the last 15 years, he has edited dozens of primetime documentary, entertainment and reality TV shows, including The X Factor, Big Brother, Wife Swap and Secret Millionaire, as well as numerous high-end political, historical and observational documentaries.
