Formed in 1995, the band's song This is How You Remind Me' became one of the most played tracks soon after its release. Parties, clubs, and radio stations everywhere couldn't get enough of the song Until the internet had decided that some of its users really had enough of the song.

The band's first incarnation started as a cover band, but later switched to original songs. After the success of This is How You Remind Me', the band became much more radio-friendly - and from there, their songs charted to massive success.

Their song Hero' was used for the original Spider-Man soundtrack, too.

Why Nickelback has lost and gained fans Opinions vary about different bands. Some people like Mandoza, and others prefer Kurt Darren.

Nickelback gained fans as a radio-friendly band, but also lost popularity because some began to consider them overplayed. Even when a song is great, listening to it too much can eventually have the opposite effect.
